Band's references are VENOM, scandinavian Hardcore Punk, HELLHAMMER, BATHORY, SODOM, ONSLAUGHT, MASTER, POSSESSED, VULCANO and DORSAL ATLÂNTICA, plus many others.
APOKALYPTIC RAIDS was formed in 1998, by fans who lived the history of Metal. Some songs date back from 1985.
The sound is fast and visceral, yet heavy and introspective. Vintage and careful unpolished production, less is more. Lyrics deal with obscure, fantastic, existential, pessimistic, niestszchean themes.
