Bio

I am a singer/songwriter from a little town called Sauchie in Scotland. I have been playing various instruments since I was knee-high to a grasshopper and have in the last few years taught myself to sing and play guitar, and also to record my own songs.

I am currently working on my first album, and it is finally starting to come together! I have performed informally in various pubs including The Oakwood Lounge in Sauchie, the Settle Inn in Stirling, McNeil's in Stornoway, the Drumnadrochit Hotel in Drumnadrochit, The Ceilidh Place and Arch Inn in Ullapool, McNab's in Portree, Mishnish in Tobermory and Lloyds Bar in Bristol.
In July 2008 I performed a 45 minute set at the Official Runrig Pre-Gig Party before their concert at Edinburgh Castle. That was a great experience and was great fun finally playing a formal gig for once!

I performed my songs "Take Me Away Across the Sea" and "Lonely Lonely Night" live on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal during the Hebridean Celtic Festival 2007.
More recently, I participated in Clyde FM's Busk for Kids fundraising campaign. It was great fun busking both at my work at lunchtime where I raised nearly £125, and then again at St Enochs Subway Station in Glasgow. Was really rewarding playing my music to help others and I hope I can do some more fundraising in the future.
