I started writing songs when I was in school. Actually I was (am) a big daydreamer. So I would pretend that I was a songwriter.

Songs came out from the top of my head. I only picked up the guitar when I was in uni, and I wasn't a serious guitarist at all. My impatience with the guitar made me a poor player then, but it also inspired me to write songs of my own so that I actually had songs to play with the guitar.

The first chord I learned was G, my first song on the guitar started with a G. I write songs about anything that pushes me to think further, to imagine and feel a little deeper.

As for the singing, I'm not exactly sure when I started to realize that I actually have a voice of my own. I love to sing and I do it all the time, wherever I can. And somehow it takes a life of its own. I can't tell you how I sound like, you probably can't too. Coz it's just weird. :p

For the record, the marhaens are individual musicians who support me and my music. They are awesome in their respective fields and their wisdom and friendship make this journey all the more rewarding. (Thank you guys!)

Anyway, I'm finishing school soon. And I hope to be a serious singer-songwriter in Malaysia, serious as in, this will be my life's work. Thank you for being a part of it.
