Q: What do you use to make your music?
A: Anything I can get my hands on electronically. Years ago it was all hardware synthesizers. Now I use VSTi (soft synths) and sampling. Where I spend a good amount of time searching for that special sound or dialog. Sampling is key to creating unique music. Actual real sampling, digging around in old documentaries, to finding something modern day "like movies" then attaching a little part of a sound to sampler to create an entirely different mood. While playing back these instruments chord-wise on keyboard. I rely on modern technology to give me the edge I seek as well.
