Q: I am loving your music, and was wondering if you might share some of the influences that shaped you as an artist. I am always listening and learning. Much appreciate your page. Phoenix
A: Thank you Phoenix for the most excellent question. Just like yourself and many others year upon year I have enjoyed timeless works of art across a broad spectrum of artist. The best tutor I have ever studied with has been my pain. I of course have had many other great instructors that have had a tremendous influence on the palette of color I paint from. Here are just a few of my guitar influences; John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Andy James, Mark Tremonti, John Connolly, KT. Tunstall, John Mayer, Michael Angelo Batio. Some of my singing influences are quite vast. They would run from George Benson to Myles Kennedy peppered with styling from the great Ronnie James Dio. Some bands that have influenced my composition would be; Dishwalla, Alter Bridge/Creed/Tremonti Project, Sevendust, Dream Theater, Breaking Benjamin, Switchfoot, Three Doors Down and Cold.
