If words could translate music, if simple written statements could strike the nerves that your favorite songs do, then this would be pointless. This assortment of letters and phrases would be able to describe to you the work of five individuals, the creation of an idea, and the drive that has produced A Dead Giveaway. Luckily words are not enough to describe music, in order to truly grasp a song you must listen; you must understand it in your own unique way. It’s simple. It’s natural.
A Dead Giveaway formed more than six years ago when guitarist Bryce Veazey and drummer Brandon Woodall first picked up instruments in their early years of High School. Following in the footsteps of family members and friends who had always used music as an outlet for creative expression, Veazey and Woodall created the foundation of what would soon become A Dead Giveaway. As time and various names for the group came and went, the band slowly started to take form. Bassist Cory Tittle and Vocalist Jesse Collins joined early in the bands carrier, forming the initial group four which released two studio albums while still in High School. In late 2006 Jon Gibbens, assistant producer on A Dead Giveaway’s 2005 release “In Loving Memory”, joined as a second guitarist; thus filling out the bands presence and sound.
Since the addition of Gibbens the primary focus of the band has been simple, to record and release a new album. Which is precisely what A Dead Giveaway has done. Heaven Hell Earth and the Moon represents nearly two years of writing, recording, and playing shows across the
