About

ADDIE was born in Seattle, Wa. to Jazz musician parents and an extended musical family. Don Lanphere(Woody Herman) is her cousin. She grew up in Palo Alto, Ca. and put together bands as a teenager.
One of those bands was Wild Honey, who played the Bay Area before heading to Hollywood to sign with Warner Bros. Records.(They later changed the name to FANNY) After a stint in Hollywood, she migrated to Chicago to play the blues and was discovered by blues writer/bassist, legend, Willie Dixon, who produced her there.
After traveling and playing with most of the blues greats, she has come to settle back in Palo Alto. She now owns her own studio, continues to write, record, and produce herself and others. She created a guitar line called Lil'Queenie Guitars for smaller folks and women. It consists of top of the line wood from Washington State (USA Custom Guitars)and top of the line components. They come in 24 and 25 inch scale length.
There is a lot inbetween, but this is the short version.
