About

Music has been a major part of Adamatic's life since the age of 10. It began with classical training on the sax and drums, then moved into DJing, and finally into music production.

Adamatic was born and raised in the D.C./Baltimore area, later moved to the NYC area for some time, and finally landed in L.A. These urban areas that he has called home over the years, all have their own distinct music scenes, flavors, and textures, which have in some way all influenced and helped to structure his sound today.

Adamatic has produced a variety of urban, electronic music, but tends to focus on hip-hop. His production work has been described as original, passionate, and innovative.

As far as his work with MC's, Adamatic has produced tracks for Luckyiam (Living Legends), Sunspot Jonz (Living Legends), Gajah (Acid Reign/Alpha Pup Records), Olmeca, Ellay Khule (aka Rifleman) (Project Blowed), Open Mike Eagle (Thirsty Fish/Project Blowed), Beond (Acid Reign/Alpha Pup Records), and Remo Conscious.

Current production work that Adamatic is doing with MC's includes, producing tracks for Sunspot Jonz (Living Legends), Luckyiam (Living Legends), Mystic, Metis, Menacin Johnson, Gajah, Express Fresh, and Open Mike Eagle.

On the instrumental side of things, Adamatic has produced a down-tempo, electronic single on Kosmic Music (download only), a full-length, instrumental hip-hop LP on Bomb Hip-Hop Records a full-length, trip-hop LP on Beluga Recordings produced a trip-hop track for a compilation album on Beluga Recordings, a techno EP on Pro-Jex Records (vinyl only), and produced a techno single for a compilation on Strictly Hype Recordings.  
Recently Adamatic has begun releasing a series of instrumental hip-hop albums called, "Instrumentals for the Mental."

With regards to remixes, Adamatic has done remix work for Azeem (Bomb Hip-Hop), and for Fatlip (Delicious Vinyl). He also has remixes coming out on projects by Menacin Johnson and King Rhythm. Lastly, in 2008, Adamatic won the Hieroglyphics/Opio remix contest for Opio's single, "Stop the Press."

Adamatic is also putting a strong focus on music licensing; getting his musical productions into TV, film, and video games. He has already had some of his music playing during programs on Fuel TV. He has also linked up with music licensing company Next Thing Music, and is producing a wide range of urban and electronic music for their for them. Lastly, Adamatic regularly licenses out hip-hop beats for a variety of media through Rumblefish.

Adamatic's accumulated musical knowledge, undeniable production skills, and unwavering work ethic make him a strong, creative force in the world of music.
