About
A.C. Coleman is a renaissance man. From poetry to performance art, to music, he strives to express his humanness and shared experience.
Coupled with Spanish producer/musician/engineer phenom, David E.F.P., together they form 2osos, and bring to bear their collective synergy of flavors and influences from their diverse cultures... American jazz , Arabic flourishes, Spanish cadences and Latino rhythms, folk, pop, R&B, electronica, and world music.
His debut cd, "Phylosoulfree", released on the 2osos independent label in April 2005, was well-received, locally, and touted by Tim Brookover of Outsmart Magazine, " Aaron "A.C." Coleman has distinguished himself in Houston as a gifted poet with an often witty, wicked performance style. Now he and his music partner and collaborator, artist and musician, David E.F.P., have collaborated on the "highly listenable" Phylosoulfree. This debut CD, released on their 2Ososproductions label, includes 10 original songs, among them the radio-ready “The Only One” and “We Can Get There,” which features a fat, ’80s-tastic hook. David's "impeccably-crafted" production sets this release above most grassroots CDs."
Music from the cd has also been featured on Mandrake Society Radio Podcast (www.mandrakesocietyradio.com), and KPFT Radio (90. 1 FM) (www.kpft.org)

A.C. is currently in the studio, working on his second music cd, and an e-book of poetry, "Volume Next", due the beginning of the next year.
