“--ACUSTALAPSE WINS THE 2010 OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE BATTLE OF THE BANDS-- Acustalapse brought a harder rock sound than the other competitors but closed their initial set with a ballad. The Occidental bands were creative and proficient, but Acustalapse seemed to have a technical edge on the other acts and was eventually crowned the winner of the competition. Nearly 300 students attended Programming Board's Battle of the Bands at the Cooler on Saturday, Nov. 20. The competition was between four local bands, three of which came straight from our own campus. ”
