“7 Minute Stagger is the sort of band whose persistence and unyielding determination are audible in their music. The group follows what the heavy metal industry refers to as the “Beauty and the Beast” approach, meaning a male vocalist handles the harsh and raspy vocals while the female singer handles the melodic lines. 7 Minute Stagger plays a unique-sounding blend of metal genres. Some of their riffs sound like Slayer, but the Lamb of God-style screaming approach would be anachronistic to the traditional thrash metal of the 1980s. As a result, 7 Minute Stagger offers something that is intriguing and rare, and it’s obvious that even though they go against the artistic grain, they are motivated to soldier on in a field of bands that offer the Worcester scene a very different interpretation of metal.”
