Q: Rocking song dudes, but why 1978? And What kind of Amps are producing that distortion?
A: You can go to 1978champs.com/askachamp for the full story, but basically it's a caption on Danny's favorite photo of his father. We used all kinds of stuff on the album, but these were VHT pitbull 50's, and 5150's blended together through either an Orange or a Mesa cab. We used an 80's Les Paul running pretty much straight to the amp.
