“Wolf Snake Sun is that moment when punk shoves your face in it’s crotch, just before jumping on it’s Harley and driving off into the sunset - middle finger raised in tempestuous glory. At the heart of the grunge movement was the marriage of punk and metallic hard rock; an ethos that Endino embodied, as both a musician and producer. It also makes him a dream production choice for Wolf Snake Sun’s 4-song, debut E.P., “Blood in the Sky.” Tapping punk legends like New York Dolls, The Misfits and The Stooges, WSS effortlessly combines the raw, attitude-laden grist of punk with a sound influenced by some of hard rock’s greats (i.e. Sabbath, Motorhead and even The Cult).
