W. Michael Lewis has been a fixture in the L.A. music scene as a performer, producer, sound designer and arranger. He joined Quicksilver Messenger Service as keyboard player in 1972 and co-produced three of their albums. Michael co-produced and played on an album for We Five, was in the band Spirit for two tours with Randy California and was musical director and arranger for Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere & the Raiders). He has composed numerous television and movie scores including In Search Of..., Barbara Walters Specials, Cops, Enter The Ninja, Shogun Assassin, New Year’s Evil and Hot Child In The City and produced five albums for David Benoit.
W. Michael currently has a private recording and post production studio in Hollywood, California and performs with The Fantastic Gumdrops of Love and the SirWayne Collins Sr Band. He has written and co-written hit songs for El Coco, Saint Tropez, Le Pamplemousse and Tuxedo Junction.
