About the Artist

Wings That Buzz began as a pseudonym for singer/songwriter Jason Kipe. Jason was later joined by Sean Grove and soon after by Klaus Funk to form an indie/folk/rock band from Mercersburg, Pennsylvania under the same name. They recorded and released two self-produced albums, Aloft (2011) and My Beaten Heart (2013). They were then joined by Caitlin Allen, Dave Holzwarth, Scott Matlock and recorded and released a third album, Every Pretty Thing (2017). Michael O'Keefe also later joined the band but they dissolved before releasing any new music. Wings That Buzz has returned to writing and recording with a new line-up consisting of: Jason Kipe - Acoustic guitar, lead vocals Sonja Epik - Bass and harmony vocals Jonas Pike - Electric guitar They hope to release a new album in 2020 or 2021.
