Wendee Glick
Wendee always wanted to use her music to bring joy and healing to those listening to her. She created shows, called “Laugh, Learn and Love the Music” to bring joy and healing to her audiences. She appeals to a wide variety of audiences, performing standards from the Great American Songbook, as well as Broadway, and Pop music from the 60s to the 80s. An experienced jazz/cabaret/retro pop vocalist, Wendee Glick is a singer with a strong stage presence, sense of humor, and ability to belt out a tune. She can engage the audience in the up-tempo, or make them weep over a ballad sung with a "bell-like" quality. Those who know her see the joy she feels when she sings. She is often told that she seems the happiest when she is singing. Scott Yanow, author of ten books on jazz, included Wendee in his book titled "The Jazz Singers - The Ultimate Guide”, and he stated "she has a beautiful voice, swings at all tempos, improvises with subtlety and taste, and knows how to uplift superior material.” Bill Donaldson of Cadence Magazine summed it up perfectly… "...the infectiousness of her singing, her joy in the enterprise becoming evident to anyone who listens to her..."
