Vespera (Dorin Panduru, Andrei Călbăjos, Teodora Bârla, Till Djent, George Chereji) was born in 2005 having their debut on the Cluj-Napoca scene and then performing throughout all the country within several concerts and festivals, among great rock and metal bands.
In 2007 the band releases their first demo “Vespera”, produced by Tibor Baszo (Alias Music Studio). The year 2008 brings them the 1stPlace at the “Maximum Rock Suport pentru Underground” contest with Mary Of Bethany song, included on their debut album “Desert Of The Real”, released in 2011, under the same production. The album brings together several styles and influences, from industrial, electro and hardcore, to death and oriental.
The year 2012 brings Vespera the Grand Prize at Posada Rock Festival (Câmpulung Muscel) which bought them a place in the Romanian G.B.O.B. Final. In the last few years, the band held tens of concerts throughout the country (Peninsula, Artmania, Rock in Parc, Maximum Rock Festival, sharing the stage with known Romanian and foreign bands, such as The Who, My Dying Bride, Leaves' Eyes or 69 Eyes). Also, in 2013, the band won 1st Place at the metal category at the Rock’N’Iaşi Festival and in 2015 they take part in the National G.B.O.B. Final.
Next, they are working intensely on their second album, “Imago”, which is being promoted with the release of two videos: “Imago” and “Fvck Them” (2017) as well as the release of “Fvck Them” single, at the end of 2017. They are currently promoting their album through a tour all across the country.
