Bio: The Peoples' Voice Cafe is an alternative coffeehouse offering folk, blues, pop, rock, rap, jazz and spoken word on Saturday nights in an LGBTQ-welcoming alcohol-free environment. $20 contribution requested. $12 for subscribers, students, and youth. No one turned away for lack of money. We are located in the basement of the Community Church of New York, 40 East 35th St, between Madison & Park Avenues in Midtown Manhattan. Find us at the street level entrance on the right of the building. We are fully accessible. Founded in 1979, PVC has been a volunteer-run, non-profit venue ever since.
