Q: I don't hear alot of cursing in your songs, but I do hear some. I am not sure my parents are okay with that. What should I tell them?

A: well, thanks for your question. There are a lot of curse words that are common in everyday conversation....and, I dare say, your parents may even use some of them on occasion. "I try not to overuse curse words, because shock value doesn't mean as much as trying to make a point" says Mel, the vocalist and lyrics writer. "So, you will hear some, not as many as in some punk bands, but they are there because it is about making a point". Not a bad conversation starter topic...for instance...how realistic is it for the FCC to ban the 7 deadly (dreaded) words in TV and Radio, but at the movies...you can hear anything you want, right? whats wrong with that picture?
