Q: Were some of ya'll reading Alex's book and decided the story sounded like it needed songs written from it or how did the songs come about?

A: Actually Alex approached us about wanting to put us as peripheral characters into the books ( see "Long Black Curl") and then yeah...we started reading them and decided they should be memorialized a bit. lol. So with his permission....... The rest is history
