Emerging from the heart of Oklahoma, Tretura is a powerful rock metal band that draws inspiration from the hard rock and metal scenes spanning the ’80s to the present. Since their formation in 2019, the band has comprised a dynamic lineup featuring Scott Butler (Vocals), John Leewright (Vocals & Guitar), Matthew Kensinger (Drums), Christian McClellan (Lead Guitar), and Dave Cole (Bass). This musical versatility creates the distinctive sound that sets Tretura apart.
In April 2022, Tretura proudly released their debut album, “Rise,” which has since gained traction on radio stations and podcasts around the globe. Their music is available on all major streaming platforms.
When Tretura was conceived, the vision was clear: to share their music with the world and deliver electrifying performances. Initially a three-piece, the addition of bassist Dave Cole in 2021 propelled their sound to new heights. With Scott Butler joining in 2025, Tretura is ready to embark on an exciting journey in this fresh direction. As they say, “Rock and Roll ain’t no riddle, man; to me, it makes good sense!”
