Q: Hi Tracy,Beautiful Butterfly hit me about your music. Do you think that going the "indie" route is better to break out. Will pass on your name to my friends on FB,

A: Hello. I honestly believe going the "indie route" is the best way to genuinely showcase who you are and what you're all about as an artist because you have complete creative control. It may take a longer time to expose your music to a larger audience due to the fact that you have may to do everything yourself from booking shows to administrative duties. However, It's completely worth it because you get to stay true to yourself and your art in the long run. All in all, we define our own success so to "break out" in the industry may be different for every artist.
