Tony Harmon was born in Riverside California and began his lifelong relationship with the guitar at the age of eleven. He has studied with noted guitarist's Patrick Read, Miguel Rubio, George Sakellariou, Ray Reussner and Christopher Parkening..but as with all true artists, Tony is self taught!
After graduating high school, Tony moved to England to further his studies of the guitar. Upon returning from England he attended Gavilan College in Gilroy CA., The Conservatory of Music in San Francisco and USC.
Tony now resides in Paso Robles CA. Tony has made numerous television appearances on PBS, ABC and CBS, performing for special events and was one of the youngest artists ever asked to perform for President Ronald Reagan.
At the age of 18, Tony was awarded the Outstanding Instrumentalist Award by the Northern California Arts Association. At the age of 21 He composed and performed the musical soundtrack for ABC televisions' The William Randolph Hearst Story.
"Cancion del Sueno" is Tony's third CD release. The first was "Tony Harmon...on the guitar" recorded live at the Mission La Purisima on the Central Coast of California. The second was "Tony Harmon...The Romantic Guitar" and introduces guitarist Ray Pannell on several duets. Tony continues to perform and seek opportunities in the world of music.
