Tony Corrao is a talented vocalist known for his smooth swing style and timeless charm, transporting audiences to an era of sophistication. Tony has performed at many of the top jazz venues throughout New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, working with ensembles ranging from an intimate trio to a full 28-piece orchestra. He was introduced to the Red Bank Jazz Arts Project in 2012 when he was selected as a cast member for the Sinatra Birthday Bash at the Count Basie Theatre.
On June 11, 2015, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Tony won first place in the Sinatra Idol competition with a smooth rendition of “The Best Is Yet to Come.” Since then, he has performed with acclaimed ensembles including Swingadelic, the Red Bank Jazz Orchestra, the John Colianni Big Band, One More Once, and the Jazz Lobsters.
Tony is currently performing with the Joel Zelnik Trio in a tribute to the legendary collaboration between Tony Bennett and Bill Evans. Together, they revitalize this iconic partnership, capturing its original spirit and emotional richness.
Most recently, Tony collaborated with Skyline Production Music, based in Paris, France, to create a new album featuring 12 original compositions. The album has now been released worldwide.
