About the Artist

Tony Benn is a singer/songwriter from the west of Ireland and has just released his self tittled debut album to rave reviews "Tony’s voice evoking a steady but sad, contemplative quality that draws comparisons to Damien Rice or John Martyn he let’s it soar to devastating and beautiful effect.an album perfectly suited for cloudy Sunday listening " The Scope magazine Canada Tony is extremely talented and a gentleman. I am humbled by true, great, organic, music: there's something about Ireland: but I must say there is something very special and honest about Tony Benn's songs and voice’. Johnette Napolitano(concrete blonde The Talking Heads).
