I began playing when I was around eight, I first learned music on the violin, then trumpet and finally moved on to 4, 6 and 12 stringed instruments. I have had the privilege of recording in some awesome studios over the years, the one I learned the most from and had good fun in was Blank Tapes in NYC...awesome place, met a lot of great people there. I have played in some great places too, but I think my favorite job was in Grand Central Station in NYC, in the main terminal on the landing of the giant marble staircase...that was incredible. I have written the music for a cable TV fishing show and also did the TV and Radio promotional music for a large casino in the Midwest.
More importantly, over the past eight years I have learned to live heartbeat to heartbeat. I had to have emergency open heart surgery in 2014, then soon after that a blood infection nearly claimed my life. Then I had to face another open heart surgery in June of 2018. And I had other life threatening complications after that surgery. I have survived in total, seven life threatening events plus a "widow maker" that was a heart attack that generally lives up to it's name but I lived, God has a purpose for me and all of you.
These dire situations teach you to embrace every beat of your heart and show you how fragile life really is. I am grateful to God for each breath I take and I am happy to be here making music and listening to all of you who have been gifted with the talents you have. You all are blessed and beautiful artists.
