About the Artist

TOKYO TRAMPS writes and performs original music inspired by American roots music of blues, country, rhythm & blues, funk, soul, and rock and roll. Satoru came to Louisiana searching for the roots of rock and roll. Yukiko left a lucrative job in Tokyo to follow her heart to play American music. Playing together since ‘99, they have created 8 albums with the 9th album on its way. Satoru took the name TRAMPS from his early idol, Bruce Springsteen's song, Born To Run - "Tramps like us, baby, we were born to run." Coming to America only with dream without home or families, traveling from place to place, making new friends and singing for people is a dreams come true.
