Enjoy the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, by celebrating Birmingham at LOCAL, a free community event put on by the Alys Stephens Center’s Junior Board. Browse tents and enjoy produce from local farmers markets including Pepper Place Market and West Homewood Farmers Market. Enjoy music from the finalists of ASC Commissions Birmingham. Each finalist will perform their own song written about Birmingham. Shop local vendors (list below), grab a bite to eat from local food trucks, drink a beer from Cahaba Brewery or enjoy the cash bars! VIP Tickets are available $25 in advance >> $30 day of event. Through sponsorships LOCAL will raise funds to help support ArtPlay, the ASC’s education and outreach initiative.
