“ROCK ARTIST OF THE YEAR! By: The Sandcarvers Feb 15 2011 Hey Hey! The Sandcarvers were just named Rock Artist of the Year at the 2011 WAMI Awards (Wisconin Area Music Industry) Show! We want to send out a huge thank you to the members of WAMI who voted for us and, especially, to you our fans for coming to our shows so that more venues would book us and know us well enough to vote for us. We also want to acknowledge our fellow nominees in our category. They are all very deserving of this honor as well and it was our pleasure to share their company. The Form, Greg Waters & The Broad Street Boogie, Ronnie Nyles, Steve Grimm & Annex filled out our category and are all very good bands that you should check out when they come to your town (Provided it’s not the same night that we are in town.
