Q: What's the store behind your band name? That s not a normal band name.

A: Rik here. Thanks for the question. We get this one pretty regularly, as you probably guessed. Honestly, there's no magic voodoo that concocted our name. The five of us really dig chilling in great whiskey-filled roadhouses (who doesn't?), and then living here on the Chesapeake Bay, seafood is sorta our local thing. The big one around here is blue crabs, but 'Roadhouse Crabs' got us all itchy and creeped out just thinking about it. So it wasn't hard to make the jump to clams--after all, we've met a few Roadhouse Clams in our travels, and while we wouldn't take them home to mama for Thanksgiving dinner, they're always colorful, and rarely boring. So, normal? No idea what that means. But I'm thinking that 'anonymous' ain't a normal name either! Thanks for paying us some attention. Keep Clam and Carry On.
