The Plastic Sturgeons are an ad-hoc jamming band with two core members (so far): Cardinal Biggles (of That Legendary Wooden Lion) on Synths, and Steve Swindells (of The Hawklords/Hawkwind/DanMingo) on keyboards. We just make up stuff on the spot - and anything and everything could happen.
Our last gig was at The Real Music Club at The Green Door Store in Brighton on 15.2.12. We were honoured to be joined on stage Guy Pratt (formerly of Pink Floyd, no less, who's also played bass with Madonna, Michael Jackson - oh! Just google him!). Yeah baby! We were also blessed with Bruce Knapp (who played on Steve's first album Messages) on guitar, Adam (Faithless) Bushell on drums and Gregg (Paradise 9) Mckella and his kosmik klarinet! It was recorded on a 24-track Mackie hard drive and we await the mix with eager anticipation!
