About the Artist

My name is Tomasz Bieroń, I’m a 57 year old translator from Kraków, Poland. My translations include Emily Brontë, Virginia Woolf, Paul Bowles, Francis Fukuyama, Saul Bellow, Umberto Eco, Arundhati Roy and many others. In 2019, inspired by my then 18-year old son, who studies international relations and is the lead guitar player in the Kraków band Coroecho, I decided to write music. The compositions are mostly my own, with my son playing guitar solos (I play keyboards and guitars). We are a non-touring band. I’ve translated two books by the Harvard psychologist Steven Pinker, “Better Angels of our Nature” and “Enlightenment Now”, and the vision of the world contained in them made such a huge impression on me that I decided to promote it in my lyrics and videos. We are now relaunching our music with new vocals and new videos.
