The Opium Connection are a Long Island band who wear their hearts on their sleeve - striving wherever possible to combine the force of bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin with the finesse of groups like The Beatles and The Velvet Underground. The band have also worked to incorporate other non-musical influences into their work, from the writings of Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg, to the artwork of Andy Warhol. The Opium Connection continue to work to adapt their music to the changing landscape of the 21st century.
