About the Artist

"The Look", is an American rock band based in Detroit Michigan formed in 1977. The music they play incorporates elements of Pop, Rock, Country and Blues. The original band recorded 3 international albums, "We're Gonna Rock", (1981), "Look Again", (1982) and "Everybody's Acting ", (1984). They toured all over the US and Canada, and have opened for more than 50 of music's biggest acts, people like Paul Rodgers, Joe Cocker, Cheap Trick, Jefferson Starship and the J Geils Band and many, more. The Look are a great live band, but are credited with being the first band from Detroit with videos on MTV. They were inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2015 and are still being led in 2025 by original lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Edwards, who is a 2023 Detroit Music Award winner and a 15 time Detroit Music Award Nominee. Dave released his first "solo" CD "Take Another Look" in 2004 and has released 7 more CDs since then. Check out the Look website.
