"All of the artists that have signed with us have opened up for major artists and have headlined major festivals. So many artists have reached out to us wanting to perform at the festival. We are very gracious to Bob Cozza of The Penny Road Pub who opened his doors for us to have this festival." Sweet Sounds Rockfest 2 on April 28th 2012 - at The Penny Road Pub - will be hosted by international comedian Jim Florentine. Bands confirmed at this time are Strikeforce (Missouri), Lynch (Illinois), Scarred (L.A. California), Matt & The City Limits (New York City), Thirteen-A- Cross (Missouri), The Air On Everest (Wisconsin), Age Of Distrust (Ohio), The Knobs (Iowa). “This is really surprising, but there’s a band called The Knobs and they’re just a bunch of kids and their talent was so unbelievable. The one guy on the guitar was like Eddie Van Halen or (Yngwie) Malmsteen and he’s 16 years old. The whole band was ridiculously talented. This was in Des Moines. I’m wearing their shirt right now. - Joe Leste (Bang Tango)”

“THESE KIDS ROCK BEYOND THEIR YEARS! They have the HEART AND SOUL of a SEASONED CLASSIC ROCK BAND, with a FRESH TWIST of RAW ENERGY! Whatever Jake Kemble (Lead Guitar Player) eats for lunch...I WANT SOME…He has CRAZY ENERGY ON STAGE! ”

“You want to rock out? Then you have to see the Knobs. With guitar ripping, vocal smashing rock n' roll, you'll leave wanting more. The Knobs are rock 'n roll at it's finest. Cory Ford Program Director/Brand Manager Afternoon Host 97.7 KCRR - THE Classic Rock Station www.kcrr.com”

“Derek, always gracious, states that The Knobs’ goals for the new year is to continue improving their craft and writing new material, as well as utilizing contacts that should result in shows in Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Louisiana, the east coast, Europe, and more! So far in less than a year the band have managed to play all around Iowa, as well as into Illinois, Nebraska, and Missouri, and they want to branching into as many states, and countries, as possible. “This band is about having fun, while making great music, and putting on a show that makes other people enjoy themselves too” Derek says. “The band has no limit as to how far we want to go!””
