Every year surgeon's, anesthesiologists, nurses and OR staff from the surrounding CHOP programs take 2 weeks of their own vacation time to travel to Guatemala on a missions trip with the sole purpose being to provide medical attention for children who have no money or no access to doctors that can treat them. Mother's walk for days to meet up with this team once a year to get that help. Again, this is done on their free time with NO PAY! These trips are organized with Dr. Joseph Giordano through the American College of Surgeons. Who pays for these trips? Who pays for their supplies? Whatever money is not raised through fundraising programs like this concert, falls squarely on the shoulders of the people going on the trip. That is where you come in. Operation Cherish Life needs people like you to help make this possible every year. The money raised will help with; medical supplies, various medicine, toys, shoes and education materials as well as lodging and air travel for the team to complete this mission. This year the concert will be a 2-day event. Saturday, August 29th from 11am to 11pm and Sunday, August 30th from 11am to 9pm. Tickets are available in advance or @ the gate. $15 for one day $20 for a 2-day pass. Children under 10 are free! Food & brinks can be purchased @ the event along with Funnel cakes.
