My name is Lee and I have been paralysed from the neck down (quadriplegia) after being hit by a car when I was five years old. I am physically unable to play any instrument and my breathing difficulties prevent me from singing as well, at least for the general public :-)
Given my physical circumstances there is not a huge amount I can do for myself but one thing I can do is Speak (which I am extremely fortunate for) and this allows me to use voice dictation, so I can write! I also have very limited movements but I can move my mouse in a roundabout sort of way.
Since the age of 5 I have basically considered myself to be in jail, at least physically because I live life in a full body straitjacket. I am trapped within myself but I do get to escape through my writing and I can become the superstar I dream of through composing music and lyrics.
It is my ambition to enlist talented and dedicated people to bring my music to life! I want to get the band back together, so to speak. I want my music to be played live and to be heard for I feel that music can be extremely powerful and I know first hand that it can get people through dark times, so if you are interested in assisting, please feel free to contact me.
Full varied reasons I have been out of the creative world for about 10 years. Before that I was composing music for about 8 years and had collaborated with Musicians or vocalists, whenever I could. In total I have over 60 completed demos and another 200 songs ready for a vocalist.
Starting 2024 for some reason my life opened up and I was able to have enough personal time to get back into creating music and writing. It feels wonderful. I'm now regularly collaborating with vocalists from around the world and my aim is to release an album before the end of this year.
