Surianne is a roots-driven rock artist from Gibraltar, drawing inspiration from blues, soul and funk. Influenced by the expressive legacy of Skunk Anansie, Linda Perry, Janis Joplin and Eva Cassidy, her music is defined by powerful, emotionally charges soulful vocals, groove-led arrangements and honest, uncompromising songwriting.
With over a decade of live experience, Surianne has built a strong reputation as an independent singer songwriter, captivating audiences with her raw energy and undeniable stage presence. Performing at local and international festivals such as the Gibraltar Music Festival 2026, Eyes Have It Music Festival, Viva Davide Day, Gibraltar International Jazz Festival, London International Festival, Beverly Folk Festival and Nottingham Riverside Festival, among others. Shared stages with acclaimed artists including Suzanne Vega, China Crisis, Altered Images, Sleeper, Geno Washington, Natalie McCool and Stefano Di Battista, and has established herself as one of Gibraltar’s distinctive singer-songwriters. In 2021, Surianne won the title of Rock on the Rock Club Singer-Songwriter of the Year.
Her latest releases - “Unwanted”, “Cold Cruel Winter” and “My Heart” - form a powerful three-track collection recorded, mixed and produced by Guillermo ‘Will’ Maya (Breed 77, The Answer) that showcases the breadth of her sound - moving from driving rock and raw emotional intensity to groove-driven funk.
This October, Surianne returns to the studio to record new material for independent release across 2026/2027, while continuing to build her live profile and expand her presence across the UK and Europe. With Berzarock 2027 in Spain already confirmed, she is focused on taking her music further afield and connecting with new audiences through live performance.
