30 Years of Music, Resilience, and Independent Excellence

Emerging from the streets of St. Louis, Missouri, Streetza Ria, born Dermon Edwards, is an American hip-hop recording artist, songwriter, and independent music entrepreneur whose career spans three decades. Since beginning his musical journey in 1996, Streetza Ria has dedicated his life to developing an authentic sound, building an extensive catalog, and establishing his independent imprint, MDM Records.

With more than 800 recordings created throughout his career, multiple mixtape projects, and an expanding digital music catalog, Streetza Ria represents the determination and creative independence of an artist who has continued pursuing his vision despite the challenges of the music industry.

His artistry is rooted in compelling storytelling, raw emotion, and the realities of survival, ambition, loyalty, personal transformation, and perseverance. Drawing inspiration from influential hip-hop figures including Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, DMX, UGK, and 8Ball & MJG, Streetza Ria has developed a musical identity that combines Midwest authenticity with Southern hip-hop influences and contemporary production.

Throughout his career, Streetza Ria has collaborated with independent artists, producers, and DJs while building relationships with listeners through digital streaming platforms and grassroots promotion. His work reflects an unwavering commitment to artistic ownership, creative expression, and long-term career development.

As the founder of MDM Records, Streetza Ria continues to independently produce and release music, expand his recording catalog, and pursue strategic opportunities in music publishing, licensing, distribution, and artist development.

Beyond entertainment, his music documents a personal journey shaped by adversity, growth, spirituality, and the pursuit of a greater purpose. Each recording contributes to a larger body of work representing his experiences, perspective, and evolution as both an artist and an individual.

Now entering his fourth decade in music, Streetza Ria is focused on transforming decades of recorded material and independent experience into lasting commercial opportunities, strategic industry partnerships, and a sustainable musical legacy.

Streetza Ria is open to serious inquiries regarding music publishing, catalog administration, synchronization licensing, distribution partnerships, and recording opportunities.
