Q: your band is awesome! we are a three peice punk band, im trying to pull my 7 track demo together... its been super hard. any advice? how did you guys record?

A: First off, practice the songs you want to record with a metronome. That's SUPER important. You want to make sure that everything stays in tempo the whole time. It's tedious, but necessary. My bands in the past have just found a friend with a basement that could record us. The quality wasn't aways great, but it got the job done. With Straight Outta Luck, I was talking to a friend that recommended a studio that recorded for good prices. We recorded in 2 days and had our friend master it. Found a company that would duplicate the CD for $1 a disc. For us it was right around $500 dollars for everything.
