OK guys....Unreal, but hooked up with Sylvain Sylvain from the New York Dolls...The 1st Punk Band, but Disbanded before the Ramones came out... GREAT Guy! This dude knows Joan Jett (The Queen of Rock), Blondie, Johnny Ramone lived 4 streets over, Wilco, But a huge influence on what has and is What WE Are....The pleasure was mine!

the death of nixons boys.the time has come for tricky dicks men to change.scott floyd, mike stieber, dave hampton, pat loisel(dead)larry stofko, jay sill.the STIFF NIXONS were at a time when punk was dead hippies were ex punks and fugazi was unknown.a great band with 30plus original songs. iwas the lead singer of the nixons john rucker.it is time to put the stiffys to rest not to be an asshole the STIFF NIXONS cant be without me the only reason im not a stiff boy is i got throat cancer and cant sing anymore.the only thing these boys need to do is change the name get a new singer write new songs and forget about what was to be.while not popular flipside magazine in LA compared us to nirvana and mca records was intrested, but pat died dave got married larry went to work at a major computer company scott and i fought.so all was dead. we did all our own shit played for beer and drugs.i say what we did in the deep south was unheard of.we always said we would not get loaded before a gig but me and another always did i got hit with beer bottles and threatend by someones boy friend it could get violent but thats who theSTIFF NIXONS were.there was a saying if you find a stiff nixon alive buy him a beer if you found him dead bury him with one. ill take that beer now
