Steve Conover is a singer, songwriter & author from Winchester,VA. Steve grew up stuttering terribly which caused him to be introverted and seek the safety of his bedroom where he began writing poems, stories and songs at 7 years old! After seeing an interview with Mel Tillis on Nashville Now he discovered that he did not stutter when he sang as well. Singing quickly taught him to breath correctly and gave him the confidence to speak in public. This led Steve to the stage to sing and deepened his love for country music. Steve's professional singing & songwriting journey journey began in 1999 when my friend and father in the Faith, Phil Robertson, The Duck Commander of the Duck Dynasty TV Show, asked me to write a couple of songs for the Duckmen Series DVDs. From that point on, I have continued to write music about hunting and the incredible experience of being one with God's amazing creation. Steve loves to share this amazing story and all the music that goes with it anywhere he gets an opportunity!
