Steel Tyrant were born in 2002 as a tribute to the legendary band Ψ Judas Priest Ψ and the original formation includes Andrea Strappetti on vocals, Salvatore "Sallyjoy" Federico and Paolo Caucci on guitar, Fabio Capulli on bass and Matteo Moriconi on drums. After years of hard work, Steel Tyrant knows success thanks to the arrival of Massimo Moretti on drums who, succeeding Matteo Moriconi, gives new vigor and power to the band's sound. Steel Tyrant performs in the main Italian locations, even alongside icons of rock history as Ian Paice of Deep Purple, getting great feedback from the public and from the specialized press.
In 2012 Paolo Caucci leaves the band, giving way to Giuseppe Cusano at which Steel Tyrant found momentum and a renewed energy.
In 2013, Fabio Capulli leaves the band and Steel Tyrant welcome the young and talented Federica Raschellà, that immediately gets appreciated for her charge, her energy and her unrivaled desire to play.
