Squier Red & The Blues Band is playing on stage right across from the water. The smell of down-east barbecue fills the air in the Historic Downtown Harbour District in Washington, NC located on the beautiful Pamlico River. This family festival centers around it’s barbecue and chili cook-offs. This year, the Chili Cook-Off will be a sanctioned event. But food is just the beginning of the fun and entertainment offered at this Eastern Carolina Festival favorite. Stroll along the quaint waterfront and enjoy other events like the Beaufort County Arts Council juried Fine Arts Show, music, children’s activities, a classic car show, 5K Race, Bed Race, skydivers, vendors and much more.. The Smoke on the Water festival is a service project of the Washington Noon Rotary. All proceeds are distributed to local non-profit agencies.Save
