Born in Anchorage, Alaska, SJ6 is a hip hop artist shaped by discipline and lived experience. Raised around multiple genres, hip hop became his language early and remained central through each stage of his life.
At nineteen, SJ6 joined the United States Army. He trained at Fort Knox and Fort Sam Houston before being stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Exposure to different cultures across Europe sharpened his perspective and strengthened his creative discipline. During this period, he refined his lyricism and built with artists from diverse backgrounds.
After completing his military service, SJ6 returned to the United States and later established roots in Georgia. His music centers introspective lyricism, grounded storytelling, and accountability. He prioritizes substance over trends and precision in execution.
