About the Artist

SoftWave is an award-winning Danish synthpop duo known for their melodic, uplifting sound, emotional songwriting and strong vocal hooks. The duo has performed internationally, including as support for OMD, and collaborated with artists connected to the Erasure and Pet Shop Boys universe, including Andy Bell and Cicero. SoftWave’s international recognition includes Silver for International Band Album of the Year at the ISSA Awards (US) and runner-up for Best Electro Act at the Radio Wigwam Awards (UK). With a loyal international fanbase and more than a decade of musical connections, SoftWave continues to bring classic synthpop into a modern era. In 2026, the duo presents things we’ve remixed, an international remix project featuring electronic artists from six countries. The second single, “Wake Up (Cicero Remix)”, brings a special musical connection full circle. SoftWave previously remixed Cicero’s “Love Is Everywhere” for the expanded edition of Future Boy – a track originally co-produced by Pet Shop Boys. Now Cicero has returned the favour, giving “Wake Up” his unmistakable retro electronic sound and, in his own words, a “pumping Cicero vibe.” “Wake Up (Cicero Remix)” is released 18 September 2026.
