Sleeps Under Beams is a collaborative effort between Drew Campbell of Subscotia Music (The Netherlands) and Lisa A Swain of SWAiNSONG Lyrics (North Carolina). The song-writing team met in the Autumn of 2020 and have been working together since, though they did take an 11 month hiatus to concentrate on other projects. BUT now they're back and have found themselves reinventing SUBs with new textures and vision while still playing homage to their original love for the dark and brooding atmospheres that they both love, culminating in a deeply rich soundscape all their own.
This time around they're featuring the new and exciting vocals of Anna Rea (also The Netherlands) whose distinctively haunting voice adds another layer of ethereal magic.
Together the three have found the "sweet" spot that they once craved and now bask in.
