“Nelson musical duo The Honeysmiths reunite for an album release gig at Rhythm & Brown this Saturday, promising original tunes played in a relaxed venue. For vocalist and songwriter Sharon Ware, the return to Nelson follows a year spent teaching in Istanbul in the midst of a popular uprising. In mid-2012, when Ware returned to live in Nelson following an extended period teaching overseas, she booked a few gigs, and invited old friend and fellow musician Leo Barrer to join her on the stage at Liquid Bar.
