Cormorant's Fancy plays A Celtic Christmas Concert at 8pm, Nov. 24, in the Orbisonia Methodist Church, with Visual effects by Glenda Waite. Come to A Celtic Christmas in Our Hometown in Orbisonia and Rockhill Furnace on Friday and Saturday, November 23-24. The schedule of events are as follows:

Community Christmas Tree Lighting
Featuring “Pipes of the Southernland” w/ Mayors Rowe & Barry and our local Boy & Girl Scout Troops ( Fri. night only – 5:30pm at Community State Bank of Orbisonia parking lot)

The Celtic Sounds of Christmas Concert
Performance at the United Methodist Church by “Cormorant’s Fancy,” authentic Celtic Band from Gettysburg - sponsored by Community State Bank of Orbisonia (Sat. night only ~ 8 – 9:00pm)

A Celtic Christmas Tea
Lovely music of the season performed live and served w/ delicious tea, hot cider, scones, shortbreads & other holiday treats (Fri. 6 – 9pm / Sat. 6 – 7:30pm) prepared by the UMC Choir & friends

“One Christmas Eve: A Holiday Legend from the Emerald Isle”
Performance at the historic Bedford Furnace House, produced by the Trolley Car Community Theatre Company (performances every ½ hour: 6:30 – 9pm on Fri. / 6 – 7:30pm on Sat.)

Holiday Folk Dance
Church of God Fellowship Hall w/ Trudy Creswell & friends (Fri. 6:30 – 9pm / Sat. 6 – 7:30pm)

Celtic Christmas Storytelling
Folklore & fables for children and the young at heart in the new, Southern Huntingdon Area Library w/ Sarah Enyeart, Pat Berrier & friends (Fri. 6:30 – 9pm / Sat. 6 – 7:30pm)

“Pipes & Drums of the Southernland”
A roaming duo of Scottish Bagpipes & Field Drum featuring Michael Hiles & Frank Furfaro ( Friday & Saturday nights)

Saint Nicholas and the Nativity Hayride
From the Eagle Hotel parking lot travel by hay wagon to meet the original Saint Nicholas and view the live Nativity (Sat. night only ~ 6 – 7:30pm) sponsored by the Orbisonia United Methodist Church

A Snapshot with Santa Claus
Family holiday photos with Santa & his leprechauns in the Historic Eagle Hotel Lobby (Fri. 6 – 8pm / Sat. 6 – 7:30pm)

Also enjoy trolley rides on the Polar Bear Express and several food vendors!
