We have 2 great live acts + special guests & DJ's at the Nottingham House this Saturday. Carl performing some tracks from his upcoming album 'Kung Fu Blues' (soon available on bandcamp) which was all written and recorded from late June till the end of August this year. Its all new and original material in a kungfu blues style that celebrates the Year of the Dragon, the ancient art of the Kung Fu animal styles and early delta blues bottleneck and finger picking techniques. Also Gemfleur, another great songwriter with plenty of original songs, will be taking you on a journey through many emotions with her fusion of sexy, warm poetic jazz and upbeat soul music. We have some brand new Dubplates from DJ Desertbud who always adds a masterful ambiance of delay and texture with his live effects. Crazyleaf and Mulaga Tony will be playing an eclectic mix of dance, reggae, roots, funk, blues and soul with an emphasis on bringing the old and new together and mixing different styles. Guaranteed to make you dance.
